Although this year isn’t starting off the way everyone expected I have respected Agnes Scott’s response to the pandemic. I have been adjusting to this “new normal”. I cannot wait to get on campus (when it is safe to do so) and meet all my fellow Scotties.
This is my Final Reflection Essay for my LDR class. I enjoyed this course so much this semester and am looking forward to my future leadership classes.
This semester, my LDR class had to complete a podcast. My group decided to do a podcast comparing slavery in Ancient Greece and historical America. We also discussed the rights of immigrants in Ancient Greece and present day America. I hope you enjoy our podcast!
Strengths Finder Essay
By: Regan Hutto
The StrengthsQuest is an online aptitude test that presents an array of questions to determine what character strengths the individual possesses. These questions are presented in a way that can narrow down the characteristics you possess. When taking the StrengthsQuest it was determined that my five StrengthsQuest themes are in order of most to least prominent; Restorative, Empathy, Relator, Deliberative, and Harmony. I feel as though being aware of these themes that I possess can add value to any team because knowing your strengths can make teamwork run smoothly. When reading about my themes, I know that I can implement a smoother plan for my team and act as a leader. Many of my themes show that I am a people person and look for teamwork that is effective for everyone. My first theme, Restorative means that I enjoy problem solving and analyzing situations. I can add my contributions by being an organizer and showing an answer to problems all while keeping peace and understanding my teammates.
